Soaking Up the Sun!

AaaaHhhhh!  Gotta Love Summertime!
(Not to worry...she was only lying there for 15 seconds while I was taking the picture - No Melanoma for this girl!)

Nap???

Trying to get Gracie into a good nap routine.
Here she is after just 15 minutes of sleeping...

Hey wanna play with me?!?!?!?!

Nap time is so much fun!

Oohhh?? I'm suppose to sleep during nap time?

How about you just pick me up instead, Ok?

Cabbage Patch Kid?

The Cabbage Patch Kids I had when I was growing up were NEVER as CUTE as this one below!  I think we got the best pick of the crop!

She sure is sweet!
Thanks to The Picernos for her hat.
It's too cute & will be used a bunch this summer!

Future Cheerleader or Gymnast?
Nice Toe Touch Grace!

Night! Night!

So...
Gracie's napping is a little unpredictable (for now).  She seems to like a morning nap about 1-2 hours after she wakes up around 7 am.  The morning nap lasts the longest of the day and is 30-45 minutes.  Then she goes several more hours (3-5) until taking another POWER nap or 2 which only last about 15-30 minutes each.  It doesn't seem to matter if we're lounging around at home or if we're running errands around town.  She'll occasionally take a short evening nap.

So...
After 2 very tough evenings of a VERY upset Gracie...We decided enough was enough!  She went to bed at 5:30 pm!  She slept until 10:30, ate, and then went back to sleep until 1:30.  Ate again and then up at 3:30 with some tummy aches & back to sleep at 4:30 until I woke her at 8 am .  While, she was up several times - at least she went down early and really just up to eat.  We think it's a good start!!!

It was nice for Todd and me to have a warm, delicious dinner together!

Here are a few pictures of her 1st early bed time!  We used our favorite pillows to help soothe her to sleep without us being in the room.  Not to worry - we took them out after she was asleep!

Sweet Dreams Sweet Girl!
