LL Bean - Thanksgiving Weekend

The day after Thanksgiving we headed South to Maine. We wanted a weekend getaway and to do some Christmas Shopping in The States! We stayed in Portland, Maine with Tucker and ventured over to L.L. Bean in Freeport on Saturday. We had a wonderful time and only waited an hour at the Canadian Border to get home on Sunday!

Sympathy Weight

Well - Tucker had his 1st appt with a Veterinarian in Canada. And I'm not pleased to annouce for the 1st time ever...

Tucker has a little bit of a weight problem. He weighed 136 lbs! What??? I can't believe it - well, I can. I've been terrible about giving him left-overs and chew bones. We're certainly not walking as much as we did in Virginia and I'm afraid with winter quickly approaching that we won't be doing much outside!

So, starting tomorrow - Tucker is going to 3 small meals a day of Prescribed Weight Control food. :-(

I feel like such a bad Mommy. Wish us luck as we start our slimming program!

Mommy-to-Be and Baby Lee have been enjoying all the Halloween candy a little too much!

I've definitely got a belly now...no longer a cute little bump! It's so much fun...Todd can really feel the baby moving and the baby is absolutely responding to our voices! Only about 3 more months to go. We can't wait to meet this little person and to have visitors!

At the Park

After painting the nursery - we decided to head out for some fresh air and a stroll with Tucker through his favorite new park! It was a beautiful afternoon and there are so many pine trees in the woods that it smells like Christmas (I think that's got to be one my favorite smells of all - well, at least until our baby arrives)!

Tucker did not cooperate with the pictures - there were way too many things for him to smell - he didn't want to be bothered with stopping for pictures!

I will post pictures of the nursery once I add the finishing touches - I want everything just right for the BIG REVEAL. But Todd did an amazing job with the painting (you'll soon see).
