Gracie's 1st Flight

Here's Miss Gracie at the Moncton Airport.  We had such an early morning - out the door by 4:30 am to make our 6:15 am flight.  Notice the french words on the sign behind us!

She did so well!  She slept almost the whole way on both flights! Thank goodness - I didn't have to be "that Mom with that screaming Baby"

Gracie has earned her wings!

Night Moves

This is how we lay Gracie down for bedtime.
Night-night sweet baby!

This is how I found her at 3:30 am!!!

How did she get down there?

Ah -oh!  If she's moving like this in her sleep -
we're definitely in for it when she starts crawling and walking!

2 Month Check-up & Shots

Gracie had her 2 month check-up on April 18th - one day before she turned 10 weeks old.

She weighs 13 lbs, 10 oz - 95th % percentile (almost 3 lbs heavier)
She is 25.4 inches long - greater than the 95th % percentile (2 inches longer)
Her head is 15.7  in - 75th % percentile

She's got her first cold - no fever but lots of congestion.  Dr. Smith said her ears and throat looked good - must be an upper respiratory infection...hopefully it will go away soon!

She also got her 2 month immunizations -3 shots (ouchie).   She was such a brave girl!  We're so proud of her and love her very much!!!

Thanks to Great Grandma Phyllis & Great Aunt Sue for her cute polka dot outfit.  Love the ruffles on the back!

Here are some pictures at the end of our appointment and the video I took once we got home.

Warmin' Up

Yay!  Spring has FINALLY arrived in Canada.
Today's temperature was 64 - Canadian Heat Wave.

We took Gracie and Tucker for a nice walk at the Park.  It was so great to be outside again.

On the way to the park!  Tucker loves keeping Gracie company in the backseat.

A quick stop for Gracie's 1st Stroll in the Park.
Notice that a little snow is still on the island in the pond.

Loving being outside!!!
Big Thanks to Dottie and Dale -
we love the Baby Bjorn.

Superstar!!!
Getting ready for her trip to the beach!

1st Bubble Bath

Gracie loves bath time!   We've transitioned to using the Big Girl Jacuzzi Bathtub in our bathroom instead of her little bitty baby tub being on our kitchen table.

She really enjoys kicking her feet and floating on her back (with Mommy's help of course!).

1st Road Trip

Friday, March 28 we loaded up at 8:30 am and headed South for our first road trip with Gracie. We stopped in Fredericton, Canada to apply for Gracie's Canadian Passport - that ONLY took 5 HOURS!!!  Sheeesh!  Then another 6.5 hours down to Portland, Maine!  We arrived at the hotel at 9:30 pm!  What a long day!  Tucker and Gracie were fantastic while in the car for that long!

Here's Gracie at the start of her trip.

Here's Gracie and Daddy the next morning.
Still a little tired!

Dreaming about what she was going to buy!!!
Better hold on tight to your AmEx Daddy!

Happy to be out of the car and chewing his bone!

We had a nice long weekend in Portland and Freeport, Maine.  We got all kinds of fun things! Gracie got a Bumbo seat, jolly jumper, clothes, and toys.  Tucker got more bones and a new leash.  Todd got clothes, a table saw, and drill set.  Kelly got clothes and a watch. We bought a Thule car top carrier from L.L. Bean to get all of our things back home !
