More Peas, Please

Gracie is such a good eater.  So far she likes everything she's tried...rice cereal, green beans, peas, and carrots.  

Here she finished a whole jar of peas and cereal for dinner.

We can hardly wait to see how much she weighs at her doctor's appt on Sept. 3rd.  My guess is she is just over 20 lbs (and she's not even 7 months yet).  I think we need to buy the big girl car seat.

Todd's Farewell

Todd got a promotion!!!  Yay!!!  We're so proud of him.  Starting Sept. 1st Todd will be the Customer Service Operations Manager in Saint John.  Yep, that means we're moving.  More on the move a little later...

The wonderful people that work with Todd hosted a delicious farewell dinner at McGinnis Landing - they even included Gracie and me.  We had a fun evening and we will really miss everyone in Moncton.

PEI Blueberries

Michelle, who works with Todd, brought us this HUGE 10 lb box of yummy Prince Edward Island Blueberries grown on her parents' blueberry farm! These were just picked this morning.  

We LOVE Blueberries!

We take out what we want to eat for a few days, wash those, and put them in the refrigerator. The rest of the box goes straight into the freezer with the berries unwashed.  Apparently, the unwashed blueberries won't stick together when frozen.  When we're ready for the next round of berries we just scoop out what we want, wash 'em, & enjoy!

Back Yard

Todd said it rained almost everyday in Canada while we were in Beaufort (thank goodness we missed all that).  Since we've been back, the weather has been absolutely gorgeous.  This afternoon we enjoyed sitting on a comfy blanket in our back yard for about an hour.  I'm not sure who likes to be outside more....Tucker or Gracie.  Guess they are 2 peas in a pod.  

Over Stimulated?

We're getting unpacked and settled back into life at home after our 2 week trip to South Carolina.  Gracie got lots of love and attention while we were there...not to mention, lots of toys!  Look at all this stuff and her "this is all mine" smile!

Huggie Blankie

Well, the apple certainly does not fall far from the tree.  Gracie is so much like her Daddy and Grand Daddy!  Todd and his Dad both like to sleep with a huggie pillow and it appears Gracie does to.

This girl loves TAGS! Seriously, why spend $ on toys when she is totally entertained by tags on pillows, blankets, toys, etc.

Silly Cereal Face

FINALLY! Gracie is figuring out how to eat! It took several attempts but she's getting the hang of opening her mouth, eating off the spoon, and swallowing (sort of)! YAY - hopefully sleeping all night will be in our near future now that she's starting to get a full tummy in the evening!

Baby Jail

We helped BeBe get her classroom ready for the new school year. Gracie enjoyed playing in her pack 'n play while we moved furniture and put up posters. She even took a 30 minute nap while we were there!

We strolled down to the neighborhood dock this morning. Oh, I love lowcountry living. I could spend hours sitting on the dock listening to the seagulls, watching fish jump, looking for dolphins, and smelling the salt water!

Campbell's Shower

We had so much fun at Ashlee's baby shower on Sat, August 2nd. It's hard to believe that Ashlee is 8 months along and that Baby Campbell will be here in October!!! We love him so much already and can't wait to meet him.
