Inflatable FUN!

B O U N C E , come on B O U N C E !

One of the great things about moving back to the Northern Virginia area is all the FUN things to see and do. While we were up visiting Todd a few weeks ago, we found a great inflatable indoor play place! Gracie loved it from the moment we walked in the door. The place is HUGE and the 90 minute play session is long enough to totally exhaust you.

Gracie loved everything. I was so proud of her...she was bouncing, climbing and sliding over and over again. Ellee (Todd's mom) and I had just as much fun (if not more). I can't wait for Todd to check it out with us next time.

Gracie giggles every time she watches this movie and says, "I Did It!" and then immediately says, "AGAIN!". I can't tell you how many times we've watched it.

I am so thankful that Gracie has two wonderful sets of grandparents that love her, care for her and play with her. I know we are very fortunate and I am truly grateful for everything that we have and for our families.

Pickle's 1st Pictures!

Pickle's 19 week ultrasound was on Mon, April 11th at Washington Radiology in Fairfax.

We (Todd & I) were thrilled to found out that Pickle appears to be healthy and is growing well - 3 days ahead of the due date. Gracie, however, is not so sure about this whole baby thing and being a big sister...I think she was thinking, "Oh great, REALLY...there's actually a baby in there!"

Guess she better soak up the attention now and enjoy her last few months as an only child!

And the next important answer to your question is WE DON'T KNOW!

We DID NOT find out if Pickle is a boy or a girl...we're all gonna have to wait! Todd and I both decided that we didn't want to know again; we really enjoyed finding out in the delivery room. Besides, all we really care about is that the baby is healthy (just like everyone)! Really it's a Win-Win!

If we have another girl - that would be awesome...I would love for Gracie to have a sister, Todd would love for us to reuse all our girl things and he's already wrapped around Gracie's finger - what's one more, and I would love to be the Girl-Lee-Girls!

And if we have a boy - that would be awesome too...I would love to see Todd with a son, for Gracie to be tormented and protected by a brother, and I would love to have a Mama's boy!

But for the record, I think we're having another girl and Todd thinks we're having a boy! So there you go...one of us is right! Leave us a comment with your guess!

So...here's our PICKLE.

Waving hello!

Sweet little profile!

Ready to give hugs!

Flip Flop Toes (like me & Gracie)

Feet crossed...No Peeking!
Pickle wants us to be surprised too.

Beautiful Baby!

Same nose and lips as Gracie!

In case you're wondering and want to mark your calendar, I'm hoping for a scheduled C-Section on Thurs, Sept 2nd. I like the 9/2 date because it's the opposite of Gracie's birthday on 2/9 - kinda cool, huh! Plus, Thursday is the day my doctor does his sections and it's the Thursday before Labor Day Weekend - a long weekend for Todd!

And we haven't decided on names yet!

Easter (only a month late)

Yep, I'm almost a month behind on this post.
Hope y'all had a Happy Easter!

This wasn't the Easter I would have planned, basically because I didn't plan! And for those of you that know me well...I am a planner...but I'm just about planned out - from arranging the move out of Canada, to travel plans for 2 months, to our move into Alexandria in May - I'm DONE, yep, OVER IT! And while I'm incredibly grateful for our families helping us, letting us stay with them, feeding us, and entertaining us....I'm ready to have my little family back together again and to get into a regular routine with my own things.

Ok - obviously needed to vent - back to Easter...we had fun celebrating Easter TWICE...I mean, there's nothing better than getting lots of candy TWICE (especially when it's half off for after Easter Sales)!

On Easter Sunday we dyed eggs in Beaufort with BeBe & PaPa (my parents) and Gracie & her bestest buddy Mason had a blast with egg hunts. Then the next weekend the Easter Bunny made a special trip to Washington, DC so that we could celebrate with Daddy.

Going over egg dying instructions

Ready to get started!

Counting her eggs!

On the hunt!

Love this picture!

What did the Easter Bunny bring G?

A Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Movie, Coloring Book,
Paint with Water Book, a Colors book, & Candy!

Unwrapping a chocolate egg

Very EXCITED to find more chocolate in an egg!

NOT happy about finding puffs in one of the eggs.
Sorry Easter Bunny - this girl likes chocolate!

Child Labor

Gracie and her buddy, Mason, helped wash all the pollen off of Todd's car a few weeks ago (as you probably know...I'm WAY behind on my posts). I love the spring weather and beautiful flowers...but I can certainly live without all the pollen!

Baking Buddy

I love to bake and I'm so excited that Gracie likes to "help". It took three times as long to actually combine and mix the ingredients...but I really enjoyed watching her play! She loved the flour and it ended up everywhere...so I'm not sure if we ended up with more or less than the 2 1/4 cups the recipe called for but we for sure ended up with LESS chocolate chips - we both enjoyed adding some to the bowl and some to our tummies! And in case you were wondering, our cookies were delicious!

Rothesay River House Tour

Todd and I have been happily married for almost 5 years and we've moved 4 times since we said "I Do" on June 25, 2005!

So...being that I want to always remember the wonderful places we've lived and houses we have made our home...I've put together a "tour" of our home in Rothesay, New Brunswick Canada!

Our house in Rothesay was very special to us and will always hold a special place in our hearts! It is a beautiful river house with privacy, amazing sunsets, and wonderful neighbors. This was the home where Gracie learned to crawl, walk, and talk and where we found out Christmas morning we were expecting our second child!

We absolutely loved this house and we'll miss it, the river, and our neighbors so much.

So while it was sad to say goodbye to that house and Canada, we're very excited to be closer to family & friends. We close on our new house in Alexandria, VA in May. So here's to wonderful memories and making new ones!

If you have 4 minutes, you can see where we lived - hope you enjoy the tour.

Beach Baby

Are you seriously still checking our blog????? I can't believe it!!!! Probably just like you can't believe that there is actually a new post!

I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in a LONG time - I've been busy moving, traveling and visiting with friends/family! Plus, I've realized I'm a computer snob...I love our Mac and it's so hard for me to use a PC to blog. I promise lots of pictures to come over the next week.

So this is just a sneak peek at what Gracie's been up to....her Daddy misses seeing her (it's been over a month since they have been together - he's been working and we've been traveling). So here you go, Todd...these pictures are for you of your favorite little girl!
