Boots

We had a blast shopping in Hilton Head & got lots of things for Gracie. How do you like her new winter boots? She's almost ready for the Canadian Winter - she'll probably need some more clothes though. I don't think just a diaper and boots will be enough. Not to worry - we'll certainly be doing some more shopping before we head home (Sorry Todd).

Bay of Fundy

We had a great day at Fundy National Park!  We went on a little hike, saw a beautiful waterfall, walked out in the Bay while the tide was out, and got a 6 lb lobster for dinner.

Sweet Dreams

Our house doesn't have central AC - we have a window unit in our bedroom and a large portable unit on our main floor. Over the last few weeks because the rest of the house is warm (80-86 degrees), we've been having Gracie sleep in her pack 'n play in our room.

Since Todd usually works late he doesn't get to spend much time with Gracie during the week. So tonight, when Todd went to bed, he got some extra special snuggle time with Gracie (and Tucker). Don't these pictures just melt your heart?

Sinky Clean

After Gracie finished her cereal this morning, I decided to wash her hands in the kitchen sink...well, then I ended up taking her PJs off and letting her sit in the sink.  She loved playing with the water coming out of the faucet - wonder if this will become part of our morning routine!

Rice Cereal

We were so excited for Todd to come home from his trip to DC because we missed him and we were ready for Gracie to start Rice Cereal.  

I think I made the first mixture a little too runny but Gracie didn't seem to mind.  She actually did better than I thought she would and was just a little fussy probably because she was tired.  We're so proud of her and can't believe how quickly she's growing up!

We had a great breakfast at our favorite spot - Cora's this morning.  When we offered Gracie some more water - she helped hold the glass!

Mommy moment

I love to snuggle with Gracie before laying her down for bed.  It's moments like this when I want time to just stand still!  There's nothing better than cuddling a sleepy baby!

Sitting Up

Gracie started sitting up on July 10th (she's 5 months old) and is growing up too fast!  She's still a little wobbly but loves seeing everything from this new perspective.
