Just Before Bed
Daddy got home from work just after her bath and Gracie couldn't wait to walk to him and have him pick her up. She was so happy to have her Daddy home! Check out her towel dried hair!
Gracie took her first steps in mid- January and we were secretly hoping she was going to walk while we were in SC visiting our families. She would take 2-3 steps but wasn't quite ready to rely on walking while we were home...oh well - I'm happy not to wish away her babyness...she's growing up too fast!
Well, it finally happened - Gracie officially started walking on Friday, March 6th when Todd got home from his business trip in Prague. We were so excited she waited until he was back home. She is definitely walking more and more and crawling less and less everyday. Last night she was trying her best to not go to bed and she managed to avoid bedtime by showing us how well she walks. I've got several short videos of her little legs in motion...until I have time to post them all - we hope you'll enjoy this cute little clip.
